Henry William, Tyddyn Ucha Llangybi, Labourer : Will 1730.
In the name of God Amen.I Henry William of the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Labourer and being sick and weak in body, but of perfect mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of this mortal life do make this my last Will and Testament as followeth, that is principally and above all things. I command my soul to God in sure and certain hope of pardon through the merits and interception of my blessed Redeemer and my body to the earth to be buried after a decent and Christian manner at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me.
I give bequeath and dispose of the same in the following manner.
Imprimis. I Will that my debts and funeral expenses be paid and discharged.
Item. I give and bequeath to my son David Parry five shillings. Item.
I give to my daughter Mary Parry five shillings.
Item. I give to my grand daughter Mary Parry two shillings and six pence.
Item. I give to my grand daughter Margaret Parry two shillings and six pence.
Item. I give leave and bequeath to my beloved son William Parry one of my two houses in Llannor commonly called Ty bach yn Llannor, the other commonly called Ty mawr yn Llannor I give leave and bequeath during her natural life unto my dear and beloved wife Gainor David. As also all the rest and residue of my personal estate goods cattle and chattels whatsoever wherein and whereabout, I give and bequeath to my beloved and dear wife Gainor David.
I nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Gainor David full and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and I do ratify and confirm this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.
In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the second day of March in the year of our Lord 1730.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Henry William to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us subscribers and witnesses.
