In the name of God Amen.I Henry Jones of Pentyrch Uchaf in the County of Carnarvon, Yeoman, being in a bad state of health, but of good and perfect sense and memory (God be praised) do on this twenty eighth day of January in the year of our Lord 1728 do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in the manner following. I commend my soul to the hands of Almighty God ? Hoping thro the merits of my saviour Jesus Christ ? and forgive me of all my sins. My body I commit to the earth to be decently buried by my Executrix herein after named, And as to my worldly effects I dispose of them as followeth.
In the first place I give and bequeath the sum of one pound one shilling to my son John Parry.
Item, one pound one shilling to my daughter Ellin Parry.
I give and bequeath the rest and residue of my Goods and Chattels and all my Personal Estate not hereby before given unto my beloved wife Jane Ellis, whom I nominate ordain and appoint Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, revoking all other Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made. I have signed sealed published and declared this my last Will and Testament, the day and year above written.
