Griffith Evans, Ysgo, Llanfaelrhys, Farmer : Will 1847.
I Griffith Evans of Ysgo in the Parish of Llanfaelrhys in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being of sound mind and memory, do this thirtieth day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty six make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say).First I give and bequeath to my son John Griffith the sum of Four hundred pounds,
Also I give and bequeath to my son Griffith Evans of Ty Hen the sum of one hundred pounds.
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Anne the wife of Owen Griffith of Meillionydd Bach the sum of one hundred pounds.
All the above legacies to be paid in lawful British Money and within six months after my decease without any interest upon the same.
All the rest and residue of my Goods, Chattels, Monies, Bonds and other security and securities for money or monies and all other personal Estate being of what nature or kind soever and where soever it can be found which I may be possessed of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath to my dear wife Lowry Evans for her own and sole disposal.
And lastly I make and ordain her my said wife Sole Executrix of this my Will in Trust for the intents and purposes in this my Will contained hereby revoking all other Will and Wills heretofore made by me.
In witness whereof I the said Griffith Evans have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
Signed sealed and delivered by the said Griffith Evans as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who were present at the signing and sealing thereof.

On the fifteenth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty seven (1847), the within or the above written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Lowry Evans, Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels, Effects and Credits of the said deceased, do not amount in value to the sum of one thousand pounds.

The Testator died on the 26th day of May 1847.
A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Credit and Effects of the late Griffith Evans of Ysgo in the Parish of Llanfaelrhys in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Farmer deceased 26th day of May 1847 made and appraised by us this 11th day of June gratis 1847.
