MR MEURIG JONES. 2, DEINIOL ROAD DEINIOLEN.

The funeral of the late Mr Meurig Jones, 2 Deiniol Road, Deiniolen, took place at Macpelah Cemetery, May 18th, aged 63 years. The Rev Ll. Boyer, Rev. E. Watkin Jones, Rev. Bryn Williams and Rev. Gwilym Parry officiated.

The chief mourners were : Mrs Meurig Jones (widow); Mr David M. Jones (son); Mr and Mrs H. Roach (daughter and son-in-law); Miss Nellie Jones and Miss Phyllis Jones daughters); Mrs Katie Jones (sister); Mr and Mrs R. Roberts, Mrs Wynne Lloyd (cousins); Mr John G. Jones (nephew); Miss Lizzie Thomas (niece); Mr Moses Jones (brother-in-law); Mrs John Hughes, Llandudno Junction; Mrs J. Morris, Marian Terrace; Mrs L. Williams, Tregarth, (aunties); Mrs M. Evans, Mrs N. Parry, Mr Cadwaladr Evans, Llanberis; Miss Mary Edwards, Manchester, Mr Emyr Pritchard, Deiniolen, and his fellow workers.

Wreaths were given by : Chrissie and Phyllis; David and Mary; Nellie, Harold and children; Nellie and Gwilym; Bobbie and Ceridwen; Katie and family; Mr and Mrs John Hughes, and Mrs M. G. The bearers were : Robert Roberts, Fron Deg; John D. Jones, High Street; Mr W. D. Williams, Pentre Helen; Mr John Evans, Pentre Helen; Mr Griff Jones, Clwtybont; Mr Robert Jones, View Terrace.

Present at the house were : Mrs E. Pritchard, 1 Deiniol Road; Mrs D. Jones, 5 Deiniol Road, and Mrs W. B. Thomas, 4 Deiniol Road.

The undertaker was Mr John Evans, Tan y Foel.

Much sympathy is extended to the widow, son and three daughters, and his four sisters, Mrs K. Jones, Ffynongroew; Miss Dorothy C. Jones and Phyllis Jones, South Africa, and Mrs Eunice Owen, Australia, and also sister-in-law, Mrs J. Jones and family, Australia.
