Catherine Roberts, Bodvel, Llannor, Widow : Will 1828.

In the name of God Amen.

I Catherine Roberts of Bodvel in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being in tolerable health of body and of sound mind memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this fourteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five (1825), make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.

First I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Roberts the sum of one pound.

Also I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Jane Roberts, daughter of my said son Robert Roberts, my chest of drawers.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Richard Roberts the sum of one pound.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne Roberts the like sum of one pound.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son John Roberts the sum of two hundred pounds, also a feather bed, bedstead and all clothes thereunto belonging.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret Roberts the sum of one hundred pounds with a feather bed, bedstead and all clothes thereunto belonging.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what kind, nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my son Evan Roberts. Ans I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said son Evan Roberts, Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills, heretofore by me made, declaring this and this only to be my last. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix Catherine Roberts as and for her last Will and Testament, in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the fifteenth day of August in the year of our Lord 1828 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Sole Executor Evan Roberts, he being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of £450.
