Griffith Humphreys, Capel Helig, Llangybi, Farmer : Will 1841.
In the name of God Amen.I Griffith Humphreys of Capel Helig in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being sick in body but of sound mind memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this third day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty (1840) make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.
First I give and bequeath unto my son William the sum of one pound.
Also I give and bequeath unto my son Humphrey the sum of five pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the sum of five pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Lowry the sum of ten pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the sum of ten pounds.
As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what nature and quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my beloved wife Margaret Humphreys. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said beloved wife Margaret Humphreys Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Griffith Humphreys as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the twenty fifth day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty one, the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Margaret Humphreys, Widow and Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.
