William Samuel, High Street, Pwllheli, Tailor : Will 1848.
This is the last Will ans Testament of me William Samuel of Pwllheli in the County of Carnarvon, Tailor.I give and bequeath unto my son William Williams the sum of twenty pounds.
I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Williams the sum of twenty pounds.
I give and bequeath unto my step daughter Catherine Williams the sum of ten pounds.
As to all the rest residue and remainder of all my personal estate and effects I give and bequeath the same unto my step daughter the said Catherine Williams.
And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said step daughter Catherine Williams Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore mada and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said William Samuel have hereunto set my hand this nineteenth day of January in the year of our Lord 1848.
Signed by the above named William Samuel as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as attesting witnesses thereto.

On the seventeenth day of May in the year of our Lord 1848, one thousand eight hundred and forty eight, the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Catherine Williams, Sole Executor, she being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels Effects and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.
Before me William Williams Surrogate.
The Testator died on the 21st day of January 1848.
A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels Effects and Credits of the late William Samuel of the Town of Pwllheli in the Parish of Denio, County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Tailor, deceased made and appraised by us (Gratis) this 17th day of May in the year of our Lord 1848.
