Evan Evans, Penlan Street, Pwllheli, Postmaster : Will 1846.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Evan Evans of Pwllheli in the County of Carnarvon, Postmaster.

I give devise and bequeath one annuity or clear yearly rent charge or sum of fifteen pounds to my wife Ellin and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life to be issuing and payable out of all and singular my messuages tenements cottages dwelling houses lands herediaments and premises, situate lying and being in the several Parishes of Denio and Bottwnog in the said County of Carnarvon and which I charge and make chargeable therewith and I will and direct that the said annuity or clear yearly rent charge or sum of fifteen pounds shall be paid and payable to my said wife Ellin and her assigns during her natural life by two even and equal half yearly payments (that is to say) on the sixth day of April and the eleventh day of October in every year the half yearly payment thereof to be made on such of the said days as shall first happen after my decease and subject to the said annuity or clear yearly rent.

I give and devise all my said messuages tenements cottages dwelling houses lands hereditaments and premises situate lying and being in the several Parishes of Denio and Bottwnog aforesaid to my only daughter Jane Evans and to her heirs and assigns for ever.

I give and devise all such other real estate as I may be entitled to in possession revision or conjectorey at the time of my decease to my said daughter Jane Evans her heirs and assigns for ever.

I give and bequeath all my household goods and furniture monies and all other my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever the same shall be lodged or deposited at the time of my decease to my said daughter Jane Evans absolutely for ever. Whom I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Evan Evans the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the twelfth day of November one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Evan Evans as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the ninth day of April in the year of our Lord 1846 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £300.

The deceased died the 25th day of February 1846.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels Wares and Merchandises as well moveable and not moveable of Evan Evans late of Pwllheli in the County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor, Postmaster, deceased, made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the fourth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six.
