John Thomas, High Street, Pwllheli, Stationer : Will 1857.
This is the last Will and Testament of John Thomas of High Street in the Town of Pwllheli in the County of Carnarvon, Stationer.First I will and direct that all of my just debts and my funeral and testamentary expenses be first paid and satisfied by my Executrixes, hereinafter named and I charge the whole of the real and personal Estate of which I shall die seized or possessed of with the payment thereof as to the rest residue and remainder of all the real and personal estate of which I shall die seized or possessed of, of what nature or kind soever and where soever situated I give devise and bequeath the same unto my aunts Ellen Thomas and Jane Thomas, both of High Street, aforesaid in the Town of Pwllheli aforesaid, spinsters. To have and to hold the same unto the said Ellen Thomas and Jane Thomas their heirs executors administrators and assigns absolutely forever as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants.
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Ellen Thomas and Jane Thomas Joint Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all and every other Will and Wills at any time heretofore by me made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said John Thomas the said Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the ninth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six.
Signed sealed declared and published by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto, and the word “ninth” and a few other words being first written on erazure.

On the sixteenth day of April in the year of our Lord 1857 the above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Executrixes Ellen Thomas and Jane Thomas, they being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased to not amount in value to £200.
