David Mathias, Capt., Pwllheli, Mariner : Will 1852.
In the name of God Amen.I David Mathias of the Town of Pwllheli, in the Parish of Denio, in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Mariner, being in health of body and of sound disposing mind memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this thirteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one, make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz.
I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Eleanor Mathias all my property of every description of what nature kind or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease.
I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof to her my said beloved wife Eleanor Mathias absolutely and for ever.
Lastly, I nominate constitute and appoint my said beloved wife Eleanor Mathias Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made, declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, the day and year first before written.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator David Mathias as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the thirtieth day of March in the year of our Lord 1852 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of law decreed valid and administration granted to the within named Executrix Eleanor Mathias, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.

The deceased died on or about the 27th day of January in the year 1852.
A true and perfect Inventory of all the goods and chattels of the late Capt. David Mathias of Pwllheli, Master Mariner made by us (gratis) this twenty ninth day of March 1852
