Owen Owens, Ty eiddew Street, Pwllheli, Shoemaker : Will 1850.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Owen Owens of Pwllheli in the County of Carnarvon, Shoemaker.

I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid by my Executrix hereinadfter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

I give devise and bequeath all those my leasehold messuages or dwelling houses garden hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances situate in the Town of Pwllheli in the Parish of Denio in the said County of Carnarvon now in the several occupations of myself and Owen Jones Butcher and also all and singular my household goods and furniture personal estate and effects whatever description the same may consist of at the time of my decease to my dear wife Elizabeth for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease.

I give devise and bequeath my said leasehold messuages or dwelling houses garden hereditaments and premises and also my said household goods and furniture personal estate and effects to my daughter Catherine Owens absolutely.

I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the fourteenth day of July one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Owen Owens the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.

On the fifth day of October in the year of our Lord 1850 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix Elizabeth Owens, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £200.

The deceased died on or about the 29th day of September 1850.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels Wares and Merchandise as well moveable as not moveable of Owen Owens late of Pwllheli in the County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor, Shoemaker deceased made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the fourth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty.
