Thomas Jones, Pentrepoeth, Pwllheli, Harper : Bond 1818.

Know all men by these presents, that we Jane Jones of the Town of Pwllheli in the Parish of Denio in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, William Williams of the same place, Gentleman and Evan Griffith of the said Parish and County, Cooper are holden and firmly bound ....... in the sum of one hundred and eighty pounds.

On the 23rd day of January in the year of our Lord 1818 personally appeared Jane Jones and alledged that Thomas Jones late of Pwllheli in the Parish of Denio in the County of Carnarvon, Harper, died in the year of our Lord 1816, Intestate without making any Will, that she this appearer id the lawful Widow and Relict of the said deceased. Wherefore she prays that Administration of all and singular the Goods of the said deceased be granted to her on giving the usual security.

Let Administration pass as prayed to the said Jane Jones, she being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.
