John Williams, Tai Cochion, Pwllheli, Farmer : Will 1831.
In the name of God Amen.I John Williams of Tai Cochion in the Parish of Danio in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being sick and weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this first day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty (1830) make publish and declare my last Will and Testament in form and manner following, viz.
I give devise and bequeath subject to the payment of all my just debts funeral expenses and the proving of this Will, unto my beloved wife Sarah Williams all those tenements lanes houses barns cowhouses stables pigsties fields meadows gardens and every premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging, and to her heirs and assigns fro ever, situate lying and being in the Parish of Denio in the County of Carnarvon, commonly called and known by the names of Taicochion and Tynlone.
Also I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Jane, wife of John Davies of Pwllheli, Hatter, the sum of Ten Pounds to be paid to her immediately after the death of my beloved wife.
As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my said beloved wife Sarah Williams absolutely.
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said beloved wife, Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator John Williams as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 11th day of January in the year of our Lord 1831 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Sarah Williams, Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of £20.
