Lowry Owen, Pwllheli, Widow : Will 1772.

In the Name of God Amen.
The twenty six day of March 1766.

I Lowry Owen of the Parish of Denio in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow, being sick in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for the same and calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make this and ordain it as my last Will and Testament, that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul unto the hands of God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors, whom after shall be mentioned not doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly goods or estate wherewith it hath pleased the almighty to bless me in this life I give and devise and dispose the same in the following manner and form.

I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Lowry Jones the sum of five pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Catherine Jones the sum of five pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my grandson Thomas Jones the sum of five pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my grandson William Jones the sum of five pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my grandson John Jones the sum of five pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my son William Thomas all and singular my money goods and chattels and creditors and whatsoever I own possessed off whom I likewise make and ordain to be my Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament as witness my hand and seal the day and year above written.

Signed sealed published and declared as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us subscribers.

September 1st 1772. The within written Will was insinuated proved approved and the validity thereof allowed and Administration of all and singular the Goods of the Testatrix were granted to the within named, he being first sworn as the Law directs saving etc. Before me James Vincent Surrogate.

A true and perfect Inventory of the Goods and Chattels and Rights Credits Profits and Personal Estate of Lowry Owen of the Town of Pwllheli, Widow deceased October 8th 1771.
