John Jones, Clynnog, Carpenter, : Will 1714.
In the name of God Amen.I John Jones of Abererch being in good health of body and of sound and perfect memory praise be therefore to Almighty God, do make and ordain this my present Last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God hoping through the merits boath and passion of my saviour Jesus Christ, to have full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and to inherit everlasting life : and my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named and as touching the disposing of all such temporal estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow uopn me. I give and dispose od as followeth :
First I will that my debts and funeral charges shall be paid and discharged.
I give to my daughter Elizabeth one shilling.
I give to my daughter Mary one shilling.
All the rest and residue of my goods and chattels whatsoever I do give and bequeath unto my loving son in law William Jones and my daughter Anne (his wife) and do hereby ordain my son in law William Jones to be the full and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament : revoking and disannuling all former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made. I the said John Jones to this my Last Will and Testament put my hand and seal the five and twentieth day of September in the year of our Lord God 1706.

A true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of John Jones late whilst he lived of the Parish of Clynnog in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Carpenter, deceased taken and appraised the thirteenth day of August Anno Do 1714 by the persons under named as followeth :
