Evan Jones, Blaenau Isaf, Carnguwch, Farmer : Will 1857.

In the name of God Amen.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Evan Jones of Blaenau Isaf in the Parish of Carnguwch in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer.

I give and bequeath unto my son William the sum of two pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the like sum of two pounds.

As to the rest residue and remainder of my estate being all personal, of what nature or kind soever the same may be or where soever found I give and bequeath the same unto and to the use and behoof (benefit or advantage) of my son Hugh absolutely for ever and I hereby appoint my said son Hugh Sole Executor of this my Will which I declare to be my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke all former and other Wills by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Evan Jones as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

On the 28th day of October in the year of our Lord 1857 the above Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Executor Hugh Jones, he being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.

The deceased died on the ninth day of October 1857.
