Margaret Jones, Carguwch bach, Carnguwch, Widow : Will 1850.

In the name of God Amen.

I Margaret Jones of Carnguwch bach in the Parish of Cargywch in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being in tolerable state of health of body and of sound mind memory and understanding, praosed be Almighty God for the same, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.

First I give and bequeath unto my son John the sum of sixty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Robert the sum of sixty pounds.

Also I give an bequeath unto my son Evan the sum of sixty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret the sum of sixty pounds.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate and Effects of what nature kind and quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my daughter Elizabeth, and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said daughter Elizabeth Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixth day of August in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty seven (1847).

Signed sealed published and declared by the Testatrix Margaret Jones as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Household Goods, Furniture, Chattels, Credits and Effects of the late Margaret Jones of Carngiwch bach in the Parish of Carngiwch in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, made by us (Gratis) the 24th day of May 1849.

On the 30th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty, personally appeared Margaret Owen (within bounden) and alleged that Margaret Jones late of Carngiwch bach in the Parish of of Carngiwch in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow departed this life on or about the 21st day of October one thousand eight hundred and forty eight having first duly made and executed her last Will and Testament in writing bearing date the sixth day of August one thousand eight hundred and forty seven and thereby gave and bequeathed the residue of her Personal Estate and Effects to her daughter Elizabeth Owen and thereof appointed her Sole Executrix.

That the said Elizabeth Owen also departed this life on or about the thirty first day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty nine, Intestate and without having taken upon her the Probate and Execution of the said Will. And that Letters of Administration of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Elizabeth Owen were granted to this Appeared Margaret Owen on the fourth day of July last past as the natural and Lawful daughter of the said Elizabeth Owen.

Wherefore this Appeared prays that Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Margaret Jones deceased with her said Will annexed be granted to her on giving the usual security.

Let Administration with the said Will annexed pass as prayed to the Margaret Owen she being first personally sworn upon the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Margaret Jones deceased do not amount in value to the sum of three hundred pounds.
