Elis Roberts, Carguwch fawr, Carnguwch, Farmer : Will 1811.
God's Will be done Amen.I Elis Roberts of Carnguwch fawr in the County of Carnarvon do make publish and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in the following manner.
First I give and bequeath to my son Richard the sum of ten shillings and six pence.
Also I give and bequeath to my son John the sum of ten shillings and six pence.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Catherine the sum of ten shillings and six pence.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Elinor the sum of ten shillings and six pence.
And I give and bequeath to my daughter Marly as much money as will make up what she has unto fifteen pounds.
And I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne the sum of forty pounds. To be paid out upon interest towards maintaining her.
As for the rest and residue of Household Effects, Goods and Chattels in and out of all kind, I give and bequeath to my son Robert, whom I make and ordain Executor of this my last Will and Testament upon condition he maintains my daughter Anne with ? and clothes during her lifetime. I mean him and his Executors for the Interest of the above mentioned forty pounds and pay my debts legacies and funeral expenses. I revoke and disallow all other former Will made by me before, confirm this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this ninth day of July in the year of our Lord 1792.
Signed sealed and delivered in our presence. William Jones John Prichard Henry Jones On the 31st day of August in the year of our Lord 1811 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executor Robert Ellis, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased (Ellis Roberts) do not amount in value to £100.
