Sarah Prichard, Rhyda Gloywon, Carnguwch, Widow : Will 1788.
In the name of God Amen. I Sarah Prichard of Rhyda Gloywon in the Parish of Carngiwch in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being weak in body by infirmity of an old age but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say.First I give and bequeath to my grandson Griffith Morris five pounds.
I give and bequeath to my grand daughter Ellin Morris fifteen pounds.
I give and bequeath to my brother in law Evan Owen two pounds.
Also I give and bequeath to my brother in law William Owen the like sum of two pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my sister in law Elizabeth Owen the like sum of two pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my sister in law Gainor Owen the like sum of two pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my niece in law Catherine Jones, daughter and only child of my brother in law John Owen deceased the like sum of two pounds.
Also I give and bequeath to the lawful children of my brother in law David Owen deceased the like sum of two pounds to be equally divided between them share and share alike.
Also I give and bequeath to the lawful children of my sister in law Catherine Owen deceased the like sum of two pounds to be equally divided between them share and share alike.
Also I give and bequeath to the lawful children of my sister in law Jonnet Owen deceased the like sum of two pounds to be equally divided between them share and share alike.
Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my grand daughter Catherine Morris Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Will by me heretofore made and declaring in witness whereof I the said Sarah Prichard have hereto set my hand and seal this twentieth day of February in the year of our Lord 1788.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Sarah Prichard as her last Will and Testament.

May 5th 1788.
On which day the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the Executrix within named, she being first sworn as the Law directs, saving etc.
