William Roberts, Tanygraig, Bodfean, Farmer : Will 1847.
In the name of God Amen.I William Roberts, Farmer of Tanygraig in the Parish of Bodfean, do make my last Will and Testament as follows.
I bequeath to my son Morris Roberts the sum of twenty pounds sterling money of Great Britain.
I bequeath all the rest of my property of every description, (excepting houses and lands,) monies goods indoor and outdoor furniture dead and live stock to my daughter Mary Roberts. And I appoint Mary Roberts Executrix of this my Will. In witness whereof I the said Testator William Roberts have to this my last Will and Testament set my mark and seal, this thirteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five.
Signed by mark, sealed and delivered by the within named Testator William Roberts as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.

On the fourth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty seven the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Mary Roberts, Sole Executor, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels Effects and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.
Before me William Williams Surrogate.
The Testator died on the 20th day of May 1847.
A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels and Credits of the late William Roberts of Tanygraig in the Parish of Bodvean, Diocese of Bangor in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer deceased made and appraised by us this 29th day of May 1847.
