Robert Roberts, Glanyrafon, Bodfean, Farmer : Will 1845.

In the name of God Amen.

I Robert Roberts of Glanrafon in the Parish of Bodvean in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being in health of body and of sound mind memory and understanding, praised be God for the same, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following.

I give and bequeath to my son Evan Roberts the sum of five pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ellin Hughes the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catharine Hunt the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Jones the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Roberts the sum of fifty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Jones the sum of forty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my grandson Robert son of John Jones of Cadlan the sum of ten pounds.

All the rest residue and remainder of my money goods chattels estates and effects if what nature or kind soever not herein before given and disposed of after payments of my just debts funeral expenses and the expense of proving this my Will I give and bequeath unto my sons and daughter Robert Roberts, Griffith Roberts Jones, John Roberts and my daughter Ann Roberts their Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever share and share alike as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and I do make nominate constitute and appoint my said sons and daughter Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all and every other Will and Wills at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

Also I considered, of first second and third of my said children will be married shall quit quite peaceably with his share by making fair valuation on the property at the time of marriage. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three (1843).

Signed sealed declared and published by the above named Robert Roberts the Testator as and for his last Will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

On the twenty third day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within Robert Roberts, Griffith Roberts, John Roberts and Anne Roberts, Joint Executors, they being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of four hundred and fifty pounds.

The Testator died on the 19th day of August 1844.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Credit and Effects of the late Robert Roberts of Glanyravon in the Parish of Bodvean in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Farmer deceased made and appraised by us this 8th day of May 1845.
