Robert Ellis, Lodge, Bodfean : Will 1838.
In the name of God Amen.I Robert Ellis of the Lodge in the Parish of Bodfean and County of Carnarvon being of sound mind do make my last Will and Testament as follows.
I bequeath unto my dear wife Laura Ellis all that I may die possessed of, all monies furniture linen goods stock and wearing apparel, and I appoint my said wife Laura Ellis Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I hereby put my mark and seal this seventeenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven.
Signed by mark, sealed and executed in the presence of us who hereby affix our signatures in the presence of each other.
On the tenth day of January in the year of our Lord 1838 the above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Laura Ellis, Executor, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels Effects and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of twenty pounds.
