William Owen, Mathan Ganol, Bodfean, Yeoman : Will 1802.
In the name of God Amen.I William Owen of Mathan Ganol in the Parish of Bodvean in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Yeoman, considering the uncertainty of the mortal life and being of sound and perfect mind and memory ets, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say).
I give and bequeath unto my son Richard Williams the sum of twenty two pounds.
I do also give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Williams, the sum of twenty two pounds.
And lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate Goods and Chattels, of what kind or nature soever, I give and bequeath the same to my elder son John Williams whom I hereby appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty six day of March in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ one thousand eight hundred adntwo.
Signed sealed published and declared by the above named William Owen to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the Testator. Hugh Williams Ty Newydd

On the 21st day of August in the year of our Lord 1802 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executor John Williams, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.
