Lowry Griffith, Hendre, Bodvean, Widow : Will 1790.

God's Will be Done. Amen.

I Lowry Griffith of Hendre in the parish of Bodvean in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow, being sick in body, but of perfect sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, Do on the second day of February in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and ninety make this my last Will and Testament as follows :

First, I give and bequeath to my son Richard the sum of three pounds.

Also, I give and bequeath to my daughter Elinor the sum of eight pounds.

Also, I give and bequeath to my grandson William the youngest son of Henry Griffith late of Bwlchymynydd to be paid by my Executrix hereinafter mentioned at the time he comes fourteen years of age the sum of eight pounds.

Also, I give and bequeath to my daughter Cathrine all the rest and residue of my stock and credits whom I also appoint my Executrix of this Will which I declare to be my last.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed sealed and published by the Testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed as witnesses.

On the seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord 1790 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within appointed Executrix, she being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists, as the Law directs, by me J Jones Surrogate.

On the 6th day of July 1790 probate of this Will was granted to Catherine Griffith, the daughter of the said deceased and Sole Executrix named in the said Will heving been first sworn duly to Administer.
