Griffith Prichard, Bodfean, Yeoman : Will 1787.

In the name of God Amen.

I Griffith Prichard, Yeoman in the Parish of Bodvean and County of Carnarvon, Diocese of Bangor, being in perfect sense memory and understanding praise be to God Almighty, minding the certainty of death, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

First and principally I resign my soul into the hands of My Creator hoping to have mercy and forgiveness for my sins through the merity and passions of my blessed saviour Jesus Christ and that my body be interred in Christian manner. I give and bequeath unto my son Harry the sum of forty pounds current British money.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Cathrine the sum of twenty pounds like current British money.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elinor the sum of thirty pounds like current British money.

I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth the daughter of my son Harry the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Richard the son of my son Harry the sum of ten pounds like current British money.

I give and bequeath unto Robert the son to my son Harry the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Lowry the daughter to my son Harry the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Cathrine the daughter to my son Harry the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Elinor the daughter to my daughter Cathrine the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Evan the son to my daughter Cathrine the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Harry the son to my daughter Cathrine the sun of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Griffith the son to my daughter Cathrine the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Lowry the daughter to my daughter Cathrine the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto John the son to my daughter Cathrine the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Robert the son to my son Richard the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Lowry the daughter to my son Richard the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Griffith the son to my son Richard the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto William the son to my son Richard the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto John the son to my Richard the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Morris the son to my daughter Elinor the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Lowry the daughter to my daughter Elinor the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth the daughter to my daughter Elinor the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Griffith the son to my daughter Elinor the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Robert the son to my daughter Elinor the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto William the son to my Elinor the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto Griffith the son to my son Harry the sum of ten pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my dear beloved wife Lowry the sum of thirty pounds of current British money and all the Household Goods in the house.

All the rest and residue of my Goods Cattle and Chattels as well within as without I give leave and bequeath to my son Richard, whom I do hereby firmly constitute and appoint full and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, and do ratify and confirm this and no other to be my last Will and Testament hereby also revoking and annulling all former Wills by me hereof made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of August and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty five.

This Will was signed published and delivered as his last Will by the said Testator Griffith Prichard Yeoman in the presence of us who have subscribed in his presence and at his request.

On the 29th day of August 1787 the within and above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the Executor above named, he being first sworn as the Law directs (saving etc)
