Robert William, Tyn Llan, Bodvean, Weaver : Will 1782.
In the name of God Amen.I Robert William of Ty'n Llan in the Parish of Bodvean in the County of Carnarvon, Weaver, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say).
First I give and bequeath unto my father William Prichard the sum of five shillings of lawful money of Great Britain.
Also I give and bequeath unto my brother William Prichard the sum of one shilling of like lawful money.
Also I give and bequeath unto unto my sister Ellin Williams, Spinster the sum of one shilling of like lawful money.
Also I give and bequeath unto my sister Katherine Williams, Spinster the sum of one shilling of like lawful money.
Also I give and bequeath unto my sister Martha Williams, Spinster the sum of one shilling of like lawful money.
And I do hereby will and direct that the said several Legacies by me above bequeathed be paid by my Executrix hereafter named to the respective Legatees within one month next after my decease and as to all the rest residue and remainder of all my Goods Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what kind and nature soever the same shall consist of at the time of my decease after payment of my just debts legacies and funeral expenses, I give and bequeath the same unto my beloved wife Ellin Thomas to and for her sole use and benefit absolutely, and I do hereby nominate and appoint my said wife Ellin Thomas Sole Executrix of this my Will, hereby revoking all former Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set and affixed my hand and seal this fourth day of June in the twenty second year of the Reign of his present Majesty George the Third now King over Great Britain and so forth and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty two.
Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Robert William as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names hereunto as witnesses thereto.

On which day the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law deemed valid and Administration granted to the Executrix within named, she being first sworn as the Law directs, saving etc.
