Margaret Williams, Pwllheli, Widow : Will 1855. This is the last Will and Testament of me Margaret Williams of Pwllheli, in the County of Carnarvon, Widow.

I give devise and bequeath all the leasehold dwelling house and garden with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate in Tyeiddew Street in the Town of Pwllheli, in the County of Carnarvon formerly in the occupation of Anne Evans and now in the occupation of Robert Jones his undertenants or assigns to my Niece Catherine Jones, one of the daughters of my late sister Laura Jones subject to the payment of the whole annual reserved ground rent of two pounds and nine shillings payable in respect thereof and of the leasehold dwelling dwellinghouse and premises next hereinafter mentioned.

I give devise and bequeath all that leasehold dwellinghouse and premises with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or situate in Tyeiddew Street aforesaid called by the name or sign of The Liverpool Arms now in the occupation of John Jones, a mariner, his undertenants or assigns to my Niece Hannah Jones, one of the daughters of my said sister Laura Jones exonerated and discharged from the payment of the said annual reserved ground rent of two pounds and nine shillings and of every part or portion thereof.

I give devise and bequeath all that leasehold house and garden with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate in Tyeiddew Street sforesaid and now in my own occupation to Margaret Jones, daughter of my said Niece Hannah Jones subject to the payment of the whole annual reserved ground rent od one pound and one shilling payable in respect thereof and of the two leasehold dwellinghouses and premises next hereinafter mentioned.

I give devise and bequeath all that leasehold dwellinghouse and premises with all the appurtenances thereto belonging, situate in Bake House Yard, Tyeiddew Street aforesaid, and now in the occupation of William Roberts Stonemason, his undertenants or assigns to my Niece Ellin Roberts one of the daughters of my said sister Laura Jones exonerated and discharged from the payment of the said annual reserved ground rent of one pound and one shilling and of every part or portion thereof.

I give devise and bequeath all that leasehold dwellinghouse and garden with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate in Bake House Yard aforesaid lately in the occupation of David Owen his undertenants or assigns to my Niece Jane Williams only daughter of my brother Evan Williams during her natural life exonerated and discharged from the payment of the said annual reserved ground rent of one pound and one shilling and every part thereof and from and after her decease.

I give devise and bequeath the same to my said Niece Ellin Roberts exonerated and discharged from the payment of the said annual reserved ground rent of one pound and one shilling and of every part thereof. I give and bequeath to my brother Robert Williams the sum of twenty pounds and in case my said brother Robert Williams shall happen to be dead at the time of my decease then I give and bequeath the said sum of twenty pounds to and amongst such of the children of my said brother Robert Williams as shall happen to be living at the time of my decease share and share alike.

I give devise and bequeath the sum of twenty pounds to the Trustees of the Calvanistic Methodists Chapel at Penymount Pwllheli, to be applied by them towards liquidating the debt now charged on the said Chapel or due for an acoount or in respect of the erecting and building the said Chapel or otherwise how soever.

I give and bequeath all the amount now standing or which may at my decease stand in my name in the books of the savings Bank at Pwllheli and all interest due for and in respect thereof to the said Margaret Jones daughter of my said Niece Hannah Jones.

I give and bequeath the sum of ten pounds to and amongst the children of henry Jones of Pwllheli aforesaid, Joiner, by my Niece Margaret, one of the daughters of my said sister Laura Jones, share and share alike.

I give and bequeath the sum of ten pounds to and amongst the children of Ellis Evans of Pwllheli aforesaid, Tinman, by my late Niece Jane one of the daughters of my said sister Laura Jones, share and share alike.

I give and bequeath twelve sixty fourth shares of the smack Dispatch to William Jones, son of Hugh Jones of Pwllheli aforesaid, Master Mariner, by my Niece Catherine, daughter of my late sister Elizabeth Jones.

I give and bequeath four sixty fourth share of the Schooner Claudia of Pwllheli to Owen Jones son of the said Hugh Jones by my said Niece Catherine.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of all my personal estate and effects whatsoever I give and bequeath the same to my Nieces Elizabeth Hughes, Catherine Jones, Anne Owen, Hannah Jones and Ellin Roberts, daughters of my said sister Laura Jones and my Niece Catherine Jones daughter of my late sister Elizabeth Jones share and share alike subject to the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses.

I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Nieces Elizabeth Hughes, Catherine Jones, Anne Owen, Hannah Jones, Ellin Roberts and Catherine Jones Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament, hereby expressly revoking and making void all Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Margaret Williams the Testatrix have hereunto set my hand and seal the thirtieth dy of August one thousand eight hundred and fifty three.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix Margaret Williams as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 3rd day of March in the year of our Lord 1855 the above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Catherine Jones, Anne Owen and Catherine Jones, three of the Executrixes within named, they being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to six hundred pounds, power being reserved in Elizabeth Hughes and Hannah Jones, two other Executrixes therein named to take upon themselves the execution thereof whenever they shall lawfully demand the same, Ellin Roberts the other Executrix being before dead.
