Elias Williams, Plasnewydd, Abererch, Farmer : Will 1854.
In the name of God Amen.I Elias Williams of Plasnewydd in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer do make and declare this my last Will and testament in manner and form following that is to say I give and devise All that my freehold messuage or Dwellinghouse, Mill Lands herediments and premises thereunto belonging called Melin Rhydygwystl situated in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon and now or late in the Tenure or occupation of John Jones Miller, his undertenants or oassigns and also those my several cottages herediments and premises thereunto belonging situated at or near Rhydygwystl in the said Parish of Abererch in tha said County of Carnarvon and respectively called or known by the several and respective names of Pandy Scybor Siop and Lliwdy and now or late in the several and respective tenures or occupations of John Jones, Robert Owen, John Prichard and William Thomas, their undertenants or assignes unto my Sons John Williams and Elias Williams. To hold to them and their respective assignes for the term of their respective natural lives as Tenants in Common without impeachment for waste and from and after their respective decease.
I give and devise their respective shares so devised to them as aforesaid to such person or persons as shall at the time of their respective deceases be the Heir or Heirs of their respective bodies. To hold unto such person or persons for the term of their respective natural lives without impeachment for waste and from and immediately after the decease of the respective deceases of the said person or persons. To the heir or heirs of his or her or their body or bodies in tail with and in case either of my said sons should in the lifetime of the other of them die without issue him surviving
I give and devise the share devised to such of my said sons as should so die without issue in the lifetime of the other of them. To the said other of them To hold unto him and his assignes for life without Impeachment for waste and from and after his decease I give and devise the said last mentioned share to such person or persons as shall at that time be the heir or heirs of his body To hold unto such person or persons for the term of his, her or their natural live or lives without impeachment for waste and from and immediately after the decease of the said person or persons, respective deceases of the said person or persons. To the heir or heirs of the body or bodies of the said person or persons in tail and in case both my said sons should die without issue surviving them
I give and devise the same pres to my son Owen Williams for and during the term of his natural life without impeachment for waste and from and after his decease to his issue in tail and in default of such issue to my own right heirs forever subject nevertheless and charged and chargeable with the annuities, yearly rents or sums of money hereinafter mentioned that is to say.
To my wife Elizabeth Williams the clear yearly annuity rent or sum of Fifteen Pounds Sterling during her widowhood.
To my son Owen Williams the clear yearly annuity rent or sum of Six Pounds Sterling for the term of his natural life.
To my daughter Catherine Williams the clear yearly annuity rent or sum of Ten Pounds Sterling for and during the term of her natural life and to be free from control or power of any husband or husbands she my said Daughter may hereafter marry.
I will and direct the said annuities rents or sums of money to commence from my decease and to be paid half yearly and I do hereby empower my said wife, my said son Owen Williams and my said Daughter Catherine Williams to recover the said several and respective annuities rents or sums of money given to them respectively as aforesaid whenever the same respectively shall have been in arrear for thirty days and all intermediate accrued arrears and all costs by Distress and sale and also by entry upon and perception of the rents and profits of the said herediments charged therewith as aforesaid.
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Margaret the wife of Robert Hughes the sum of Fifty Pounds Sterling to be paid to her at the end of twelve calendar months from my decease.
Also I give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Margaret the wife of the said Robert Hughes two sixty fourth parts or shares of and in the vessel or schooner called the Sydney and Jane and whereof one David Parry now is or lately was Master.
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Hannah Williams the sum of Fifty Pounds Sterling to be paid to her at the end of twelve calendar months from my decease.
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary the wife of Richard Parry the sum of Forty Pounds Sterling to be paid at the end of twelve calendar months from my decease.
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth the wife of Thomas Williams the sum of Twenty Pounds Sterling to be paid at the end of twelve calendar months from my decease.
All the rest, residue and remainder of my personal estate of what nature or kind soever or wheresoever the same may be situated or consist of I give and bequeath unto my said sons John Williams and Elias Williams and my said Daughter Catherine Williams, their executors administrators and assigns forever share and share alike and I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said sons John Williams and Elias Williams and my said Daughter Catherine Williams joint Executors and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all and every former Wills or Will Statements or Testament at any time heretofore by me made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty three. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Elias Williams the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

On the 27th day of October 1854 the within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of law decreed valid, and Administration granted to the within named Executors, John Williams, Elias Williams and the Executrix Catherine Williams, they being first sworn in common form of law and that the whole of the goods, chattles and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £200.
