Griffith Jones, Fourcrosses, Aber-erch, : Will 1853.

In the name of God Amen.

I Griffith Evan of Fourcrosses in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon being of sound mind memory and understanding this my Will for which I thank Almighty God do this twentieth day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty. (1850) make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz.

First I give devise and bequeath all and every my Real Estate unto my Grandaughter, Daughter of my late son Lewis for and during the term of her natural life and after her decease I give devise and bequeath all my House Furniture , clock, four chairs, one wood bed, two feather beds, one cupboard, one bureau, one round table, and books and all my said Real Estate unto her son Griffith, to him his heirs and assigns for ever.

As to all the rest of my property whether the same may be Leasehold or personal and of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consists of at the time of my decease subject to this payment of my just Debts funeral expenses and the proving of this my Will I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my said Grandaughter Mary Roberts absolutely and forever.

Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my Grandaughter Mary Roberts Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first before written the mark of Griffith Jones. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Griffith Jones as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

On the seventh day of February in the year of our Lord 1853 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of law decreed valid and administration granted to the within named Executrix Mary Roberts she being first sworn in common form of law, and that the whole of the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased do nor amount in value to £20.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Household goods furniture and leasehold of the late Griffith Jones of Fourcrosses in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, made by us (Gratis) we subscribed our names hereto the 14th day of May 1852.
