Thomas Lewis, Bwlch y Ffordd, Abererch, Farmer : Will 1850.

In the name of God Amen.

I Thomas Lewis of Bwlchyffordd in the Parish of Abereirch in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being in tolerable state of health and of sound mind memory and understanding. Praised be Almighty God for the same, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. Viz.

First I give and bequeath unto Jane wife of Robert Jones of Ysgybor Uchaf, the sum of Five Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Ann, wife of Hugh Williams of Fourcrosses, the sum of Five Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Lewis Jones Saddler of Ty'nlon Fourcrosses the sum of Three Pounds.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what nature kind or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto Eleanor Williams my Maid or Female servant at Bwlch y ffordd and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Eleanor Williams my maid or female servant Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twelfth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty eight. (1848)

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Thomas Lewis as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses .

On the 16th day of May in the year of our Lord 1850 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix Eleanor Williams, she being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £200.
before me St Geo Armstrong Williams Surrogate.

The deceased died the 28th day of April 1850.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Household Goods Furniture and Credits of the late Thomas Lewis of Fourcrosses in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon deceased made by us (Gratis) the 6th day of May 1850.
