Ellinor Jones, Llwyndyrus, Abererch, Widow : Will 1850.

In the name of God Amen.

I Ellin Jones of Llwyndyrus Farm in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, widow, being in good health and of sound mind and memory do this Twenty seventh day of February make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say).

First I give to my son John Jones the sum of Five pounds and the sum of Ten pounds to each of my Grandaughters (viz) Ellin and Anne the Daughters of my said son John Jones.

Also I give and bequeath to my Daughter Jane the wife of Robert Williams of Puntygwair the sum of Fifty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath to my Daughter Catherine Owen of Vauxhall Denbighshire the sum of Twenty pounds and also the whole amount which she owes me I give her.

I give and bequeath to my Grandaughter Mary the wife of Robert Jones of Bodvan the sum of Fifty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath to my Grandaughters the Daughters of my son Thomas Jones (viz) to Ellin the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds, to Dorothy the sum of Fifty pounds and to Elizabeth the like sum of Fifty pounds, all the foregoing Legacies to be paid in lawful money of Great Britain.

All the rest and residue of my real and personal estates being of what nature or kind soever they can be found which I might be possessed of at the time of my Death I give and bequeath to my said son Thomas Jones.

And I make and ordain my said son Thomas Jones Sole Executor of this my last Will in Trust for the Intents and purposes in this my Will contained, revoking all other Will and Wills heretofore made by me.

In witness whereof I the said Ellin Jones have to this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this Twenty seventh day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty nine (1849). Signed, sealed and delivered by the said Ellin Jones as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who were present at the signing and sealing thereof.

On the Eighteenth day of September in the year of our Lord 1850 the within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and administration granted to the within named Executor Thomas Jones, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £450.
before me Thomas Jones Surrogate.

The deceased died the seventh day of December 1849.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods, Cattle, Chattels of the late Ellinor Jones of Llwyndyrus in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor, Widow deceased made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the eighth day of June One thousand eight hundred and fifty (1850).
