Edward Williams, Pwllheli, Shopkeeper : Bond 1817.
Know all men by these presents, that we William Williams of the Town of Pwllheli in the County of Carnarvon, Shopkeeper, John Prichard of the same Town, Parish of Denio and said County of Carnarvon, Shopkeeper and David Jones of the aforesaid Town, Parish and County, Plumber and Glazier are holden and firmly bound ....... in the sum of three hundred and ninety pounds.On the twenty sixth day of May in the year of Our Lord 1817 personally appeared William Williams and alledged that Edward Williams late of Pwllheli in the Parish of Denio in the County of Carnarvon died in the year of our Lord 1817, Intestate without making any Will, that he the appearer is the lawful son of the said deceased. Wherefore he prays that Administration of all and singular the Goods of the said deceased be granted to him on giving the usual security.
Let Administration pass as prayed to the said William Williams he being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £200.
