Griffith Lewis, Penbwlchyffordd, Aber-erch, Blacksmith/Farmer : Will 1845.

In the name of God Amen.

I Griffith Lewis of Penbwlchyffordd in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon, Blacksmith and Farmer being of sound disposing mind memory and understanding, do make publish and declare my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz.

First I give devise and bequeath unto my Nephew Griffith Lewis Blacksmith the part of my Landed Property known as Donenlas situate at Rhosfawr in the Parish of Abererch County of Carnarvon which lying on the West of the trench leading from the Highway to the Southwest and to be his Heirs for ever.

Also I give devise and bequeath unto William Evans Labourer (Nephew to my late deceased wife) the other part of my said Landed Property which lying on the East of the said trench leading from the Highway to the Southwest and to be his Heirs for ever.

Also I give and bequeath unto Richard Williams Blacksmith (Nephew to my late deceased wife) the Bedstead and Bedding in which I sleep, and also I give and bequeath that Mary Griffith mother of the above named William Evans and Richard Williams should have her maintenance during her lifetime.

And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint the above named Griffith Lewis, the above named William Evans and the above named Richard Williams Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal thid thirteenth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty three.

Signed and sealed published and declared by the said Testator Griffith Lewis as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses.

On the twenty second day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty five, the above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Griffith Lewis, William Evans, Richard Williams, Joint Executors they being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels, Effects and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of One hundred pounds.

The Testator died in the 18th day of August 1844.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods, Furniture, Chattels, Effects and Credits of the late Griffith Lewis of Gefail Bwlch y Ffordd in the Parish of Abererch, in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Blacksmith, Deceased made by us (Gratis) the 20th day of January 1845.
