Anne Jones Penychain Abererch : Will 1844.

In the Name of God. Amen.

I Anne Jones of Penychain in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being in tolerable health of body and of sound mind, memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this Second day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty seven (1827) make, publish and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following Viz :

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary, wife of John Prichard, Pwllheli the sum of Twenty Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine Roberts of Pwllheli, Widow, the like sum of Twenty Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane, wife of Hugh Jones, Morfa, the like sum of Twenty Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne, wife of Robert Owen, Glanllyna, the like sum of Twenty Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ellin, wife of Robert Jones, Frondanw, the like sum of Twenty Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth, wife of John Roberts, Bettws bach, the like sum of Twenty Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Owen Jones of Carnarvon the like sum of Twenty Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Jones, Mariner, the sum of Thirty Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son John Jones of London the sum of Forty Pounds.

As to all the rest, residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects, of what kind nature or quality soever, the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my son Evan Jones now living with me. And I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said son Evan Jones, sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills, heretofore by me made, declaring this and this only to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have here-unto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

Signed, sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix Anne Jones as, and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in her presence at her request, and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the twentieth day of February in the year of out Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty four. /1844/ the within written Will, was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law decreed Valid and Administration granted to the within named Evan Jones, Sole Executor, he being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels, Effects and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of Three hundred Pounds.
