In the name of God Amen.I Griffith Prees of Brynllaeth in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being sick and weak in body, but of sound disposing mind memory and understanding praised be Almighty God, do this eighth day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty five (1835) make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz.
First I gaive and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane, wife of Evan Owen the sum of Two pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Eleanor wife of Richard Evans the like sum of Two pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Griffith Evans son of my said daughter Eleanor, the sum of Forty pounds and dresser upstairs.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Griffith Prees, son of my son Rees Morris the sum of Two pounds and an ewe and a lamb.
Also I give and bequeath unto my two late servant maids Eleanor wife of David Jones and her sister Elizabeth wife of John Griffith the sum of Two pounds each.
Also I give and bequeath unto my present servant maid Lowry Evans spinster the sum of Five pounds with the dresser called dresser ganol.
As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my son Rees Morris on condition that he his heirs executors administrators or assigns or one of them shall take the charge of my son Robert Prees and provide him with a home, meat, drink, clothes etc and allow him a little reasonable pocket money and the whole free.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said son Rees Morris Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Griffith Prees as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the sixteenth day of July in the year of our Lord 1836, the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and adminsitration granted to the within named Rees Morris Sole Executor he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to Two hundred pounds.
