Griffith Roberts, Mynydd Mawr, Aber-erch, Farmer : Will 1835.
In the name of God Amen.The first day of February One thousand eight hundred and thirty two.
I Griffith Roberts of Mynydd Mawr of the Parish of Abererch, County of Carnarvon do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, principally and first of all, I give and recommend my soul and body to Jesus the only saviour of lost sinners. And as touching such effects wherewith it hath pleased God to help me in this world, I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.
I give and bequeath to my beloved son Robert Griffith the sum of thirty eight pounds of which I gave him already the sum of eighteen pounds on his promisory note now in my possesion, so thus my Executor will have to pay him only twenty pounds at the time hereafter mentioned.
Also to my beloved Daughter Anne Williams the sum of Twenty pounds of lawful money, together with a chest of drawers, small table, new feather bed, now upstairs or the Middle Loft as it is commonly called.
Also to my beloved Grandson William Roberts the sum of Five pounds of lawful money of Great Britain.
And to my beloved sons Henry, Griffith, Richard, Edward and Griffith Roberts the sum of one shilling each to be paid to all and every one of my said children, and my said Grandson by my Executor hereafter names, at twelve months end after my decease.
Also I give and bequeath to my beloved son David Roberts whom I likewise constitute make and ordain my sols Executor of this my last Will and Testament, after defraying my funeral expenses whenever it shall please Almighty God to call me unto himself, all and singular my lands, together all my household goods (with exception of the three mentioned articles viz the chest, table and feather bed) and moveable effects, by him freely to be possessed and enjoyed.
And I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disannul all and every other former Testament Wills Legacies bequests executors by one in any ways before named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this, and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed sealed published pronounced and disclosed by the said Griffith Roberts, as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers.

On the tenth day of April in the year of our Lord 1835 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named David Roberts Sole Executor he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of Hour Hundred and Fifty Pounds
