Evan Griffith, Llwynrhudol Uchaf, Abererch, Farmer : Will 1834.

In the name of God Amen.

I Evan Griffith of Llwynrhudol uchaf in the Parish of Abererch, in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being in tolerable health and body and of sound disposing mind, memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God, do this First day of November in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty two. /1832./ make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, Viz :

First I give devise and bequeath subject to a charge or chargeable with the sum of One hundred Pounds all that my Tenement, Messuage Lands, Premises and every appurtenenances thereunto belonging commonly called or known by the name of Ty'nlone situate being and being in the said Parish of Abererch and said County of Carnarvon unto my son Hugh Owens and to his heirs for ever subject to the said charge of One hundred Pounds, which the said sum of One hundred Pounds I give and bequeath as follows :

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret Griffith the sum of Twenty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Griffith the like sum of Twenty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Eleanor Griffith the like sum of Twenty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Griffith the like sum of Twenty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine Griffith the like sum of Twenty pounds, and my will is that if any of my said daughters die single and unmarried her or their share or legacy so dying to go to the survivors of my said daughters.

As to all the rest, residue and remainder of my Goods, Chattels, Effects and Credits, of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be, or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my beloved wife Eleanor Griffith absolutely. And I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said beloved wife Eleanor Griffith Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made, declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first before written. Signed, sealed, published and declared, by the said Testator Evan Griffith as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence at his requeat and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 17th day of September in the year of our Lord , the within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and adminstration granted to the within named Eleanor Griffith, Widow, Sole Executor, she being first sworn incommon form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of One hundred pounds. Before me William Williams Surrogate.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods, Cattles and Credits of the late Evan Griffith of Llwynrhudol in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer deceased made and appraised by us (gratis) this 12th day of August in the year 1834.
