Owen Roberts, Pwllheli, Mason : Will 1832.

 In the name of God Amen.

I Owen Roberts of the Town of Pwllheli in the Parish of Denio and County of Carnarvon, Mason, being in health of body and of sound mind memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this Twenty first day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen. (1819) make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in form and manner following, viz.

I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate and effects of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, subject to all my lawful debts unto my wife Jane Roberts during the term of her natural life, and after her decease, I give devise and bequeath all my said real and personal estate and effects unto my youngest son William Roberts, chargeable with the payment on one pound to each of my other children, and to his heirs for ever in case he leaves lawful issue, but in default of lawful issue after his decease, I give devise and bequeath all the said my real and personal estate unto and between my other children share and share alike, and to their heirs for ever, subject as aforesaid to the payment of all my just debts.

And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my beloved wife Jane Roberts, Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made, declaring this to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Owen Roberts as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 23rd day of May in the year of our Lord 1832 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Jane Roberts, Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do nor amount in value to the sum of twenty pounds.
