Catherine Williams Crymllwyn, Abererch, Widow : Will 1828

In the Name of God. Amen. I, Catherine Williams of Crymllwyn Mawr in the parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being of sound mind memory and understanding do make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say). First I recommend my soul to the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body to the earth to be decently buried by my Executor previously named and as to my wordly effects I dispose of the same as follows :

I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Ellin the wife of Robert Edwards of Bryngwynt the sum of Ten pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain, also a chest and three sheep and as to the rest and residue of all my personal estate and effects, ready money, Securities for money, mortgages, Bills, Bonds and Notes of what kind nature or quality served the same way be or consist of at the time of my decease :

I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my son William, Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby working and making void all former Will or Wills by me at any time herefore made and I declare this to be my last Will and Testament .

In witness whereof I have set my seal this eighth day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty six. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix Catherine Williams as and for her last Will and Testament with presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other subscribed in names as witnesses thereto.

On the 19th day of December in the year of our Lord 1827. The above named or within written Will was proved approved and insinuated and in common form of Law decreed valid and administration granted to the within named William Roberts sole Executor, he being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased, do not amount in value to the sum of £20.

Inventory made the 29th Day of June 1827 on the Household Goods, Chattels of the late Catherine Williams of Crymllwyn, Widow in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor.
