John James, Penlon fawr, Aber-erch, : Will 1822.
In the name of God Amen.I John James of Penlonfawr in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor being of a sound mind memory and understanding praised be god do publish and declare this within Instrument and for my last Will and Testament which I make and ordain in the form and manner followeth that is to say. Imprimis.
I give and bequeath to my eldest son John Jones the sum of two shillings and no more.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Jones the sum of two shillings and no more.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Elisabeth Jones the sum of two shillings and no more.
As to the rest and residue of my present estate goods and cattles and credits I give and bequeath the same to my dear beloved wife Elinor James and my son William Jones and my daughter Ellin Jones whom I also nominate constitute and appoint Sole Jointly Executors of this my Last Will and Testament in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Fifth day of February in the year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Two.
Signed sealed published and declared by the Testatrix John James as and for his last Will and Testament in our presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto

On the 20th day of March in the year of our Lord 1822 the within named Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above or within named Executors Ellin James, William Jones and Ellin Jones, they being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £20.
