John Williams, Bryngola, Abererch, Gent : Will 1822.
In the name of God Amen.I John Williams of Bryngola in the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon, Gentleman, being weak and sick in body, but of sound mind memory and understanding praised by God, do this twenty seventh day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one (1821) make publish and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.
First I give, devise and bequeath unto Anne Jones, spinster now living with me, all that dwelling house, shop, outhouses, stable, garden and all the appurtenances thereto belonging situate, lying and being in the Town of Pwllheli in the Parish of Denio, and which is now in the tenure or occupation of Owen Owens, shopkeeper, and commonly called or known by the name of Tyngroes for and during the term of her natural life and to the heirs of her body lawfully begotten, but in default of her leaving a child or children so lawfully begotten, then in that case I give, devise, dispose and bequeath all the said premises after the death of the said Anne Jones unto my illegitimate daughter Catherine Williams by Catherine Evan of Pwllheli, which Catherine Williams is now living with Jane Roberts of Pandy and to her heirs for ever.
Also I give devise and bequeath unto the said Anne Jones all that Garden called or known by the name of Gardd tyddyn ronnen situate in the said Town of Pwllheli for and during her natural life and on condition that she shall build a house or houses on the said Garden to her heirs for ever, but in case she does not build such house or houses, on the same, then I give devise and bequeath the said Garden after the death of the said Anne Jones unto my said illegitimate daughter Catherine Williams and her heirs for ever. Also I give and bequeath unto the said Anne Jones the Lease that I now have on Bryngola with all the advantages and benefits arising therefrom until the expiration thereof, together with all my personal estate of what kind or nature soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, subject to a charge or chargeable with sixty pounds to be paid by my Executrix which sum of Sixty Pounds I give and bequeath unto my aforesaid illegitimate daughter Catherine Williams when she attains the age of Twenty one years without interest.
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Anne Jones spinster to be Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all and every other Will or Wills at any time heretofore by me made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator John Williams as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the Eighth day of April in the year of our Lord 1822 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix Anne Jones, she being first personally sworn in common form of Law, and that the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £450.

A true and perfect inventory of all the Goods and Chattels as well moveable as not moveable of John Williams late of Bryngola in the Parish of Abereirch in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Gentleman deceased made by us the 6th day of April in the year of our Lord 1822.
