John Owen, Penymaes, Abererch, Yeoman : Will 1800.

In the name of God Amen.

The third day of January in the year of Our Lord Jesus Christ One thousand eight hundred.

I John Owen Penymaes of the Parish of Abereirch in the County of Carnarvon Yeoman, being under some indisposition of Health but of sane mind memory and understanding do make, and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz.

First of all I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Ellias Maurice the sum of Five pounds of Lawful Money of Great Britain and my clock. The same sum above and clock in possession after the life of my dear wife Jane Owen.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the Great Brass Pan after the Life of my Dear wife Jane Owen and no more.

As for my all Goods Cattle or Chattels and Effects I give and bequeath the same unto my dear wife Jane Owen who I nominate constitute and appoint Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament nulling all other former Will or Wills heretofore made by me ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal the date and year above written. Published pronounced and delivered by the Testator his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names.

29th Day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred the within Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix Jane Owen, she having been first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists (having alleged that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the Testator John Owen doth not amount in value to the sum of Twenty Pounds) as the law directs.
