In the name of God Amen.I Richard John Thomas of Tyddyn y perthi in the parish of Abererch County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Yeoman being sick in body but of perfect mind and memory praised be God, do on this Thirtieth day May in the year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty six make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following. That is to say.
First I give and bequeath unto my brother David John Thomas the sum of Three pounds of lawful British money.
Also I give and bequeath unto my sister Elizabeth John Thomas the sum of Five shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto my nephew Griffith Evans the sum of Ten shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto my niece Catherine Evans the sum like of Ten shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto my niece Elizabeth Evans the like sum of Ten shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto my niece Mary Evans the like sum of Ten shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto Margaret Robert Rowland Spinster the sum of Three pounds of Lawful British Money and my best vessel dresser.
As for all and singular the rest residue and remainder of my worldly Goods Chattels Cattle and Credit whatsoever where soever and of what nature soever they be I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Gwen Thomas and do make nominate and appoint her my said wife Gwen Thomas Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament, revoking and making void all former Will and Testaments by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal the day and year above written.
