Richard Jones, Plas Gwyn, Abererch, Farmer/Yeoman : Will 1790.
In the name of God Amen.I Richard Jones of Plasgwyn in the parish of Abererch County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Farmer being sick of body but of sound memory and understanding do after duly considering the mortality of my body, and the immortality of my soul, make and ordain my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following That is to say.
I give and bequeath unto my son William Prichard the sum of one pound and one shilling.
I give and bequeath unto my son John Prichard the sum of one pound and one shilling.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Prichard the sum of ten shillings.
I give and bequeath unto my dear and loving wife Ellin Jones the sum of fifteen pounds.
I the said Richard Jones give and bequeath unto the said Ellin Jones my dear and loving wife all my Bld Cattle of all sorts and qualities together with the Legacy above mentioned and the distributive share as Joint Executrix with my son Richard Prichard aforesaid as witness my hand and seal the day and year above mentioned.
The said Ellin Jones to whom I have given and bequeathed the sum of fifteen pounds and likewise my son Richard Prichard I nominate constitute and appoint to be Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Will or Wills by me at any time made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of May one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven.
Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator Richard Jones as and for his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto.

April 27th 1790. On which day the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law deemed valid and Administration granted to the Executors within named they being first sworn as the Law directs saving etc

On the 1st day of June 1790 probate of this Will was granted to Ellin Jones Widow the Relict and Richard Prichard the son of the said deceased and the Executors named in the said Will having been first sworn duly to Administer.
