Robert Jones, Abererch, : Will 1776.
In the name of God Amen.I Robert Jones of the Parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon being sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory do make publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
First I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Roberts the sum of Three pounds.
I give and bequeath to my grandson Robert Evans the sum of Ten shillings.
I give and bequeath unto my grandson John Evans the sum of Ten shillings.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine Roberts the sum of One shilling.
I give and bequeath all the rest residue and surplusage of my goods chattels credits and personal estate after my debts legacies and other charges past and satisfied unto my wedded wife Mary Roberts whom I do make constitute and ordain Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament by me made and this only to be taken … and deemed for and to be my Last Will and Testament. In Testimony whereof I the said Robert Jones the Testator have herewith set my hand and seal the 28 day of March in the year of our Lord 1776.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Robert Jones the Testator for and to be his last Will and Testament in our presence and by us at his request attested and subscribed in his presence.

On the ninth day of October the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix, she being first personally sworn in the Holy Evangelist as the Law directs
