John Jones, Tanrallt, Abererch, Gent : Will 1773.

In the name of God Amen. The 25th day of January in the year of our Lord 1773.

I John Jones of Tanrallt in the Parish of Abererch and County of Carnarvon, Gent, being sick and weak in body, but of perfect mind memory and understanding, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament.

First I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret all the money I am possessed of.

I also constitute make and ordain my daughter Margaret afore said joint executrix with my beloved wife Catherine, to whom I give and bequeath all my Goods and Chattels to be equally divided between them, share and share alike, out of which they are to pay the following Legacies, viz.

Five pounds of good and lawful money to my daughter Catherine.

Also five pounds of good and lawful money to my grandaughter Catherine.

And I do hereby disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former testaments, Wills and Legacies by me in any ways before this time willed, named and bequested, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said John Jones as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers.

On the second day of March in the year of our Lord 1773 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Catherine and Margaret Jones the Co-Executrixes within appointed, they being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists, as the Law directs,
by me J Jones Surrogate.

An Inventory of all Goods and Chattels of John Jones of Tanrallt in the Parish of Abererch, Gentleman lately deceased appraised the 27th day of February 1773 by Evan Jones and Henry Williams Appraisers.
