Griffith Roberts, Mynydd Mawr, Aber-erch, : Will 1755.

In the name of God Amen. August the second day 1754.

I Griffith Roberts of Mynydd Mawr of the Parish of Abererch, County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Yeoman, being of and in perfect memory and mindfull of my mortality do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following as to for touching and concerning my Goods Cattle Chattels Credits and Personal Estate.

First I give and bequeath to my eldest son Robert Griffith the sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath to my Son in Law Humphrey Evan the like sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath to my Son in Law Matthew Owen the sum of four pounds ten shillings.

I give and bequeath unto my Grandaughter Jane Matthew the sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Robert Humphrey the sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath betwixt my two Grandaughters Lowry and Jane, daughters of Elizabeth Griffith, my eldest daughter the sum of ten shillings.

I give will and bequeath all the rest residue and surplus of my Goods Cattle Chattels Credits and Personal Estate after my debts legacies and other charges paid and satisfied unto and between my wife Jane Jones and my said son William Griffith whom I do make constitute and ordain Joint and Co Executors of this my Last Will and Testament, revoking and make void all former Wills and Testaments by me made and this only to be taken stand and deemed for and to be my Last Will and Testament. In testimony whereof I the said Griffith Roberts the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Griffith Roberts the Testator for and to be his Last Will and Testament in our presence and by us at his request attested and subscribed in his presence.

January 1st 1755 was proved and decreed valid in common form of Law this within written Will administration of the Goods of the Testator comitted unto Jane Jones one of the Executors within appointed being sworn as the Law directs everyone's right being saved
before me J Owen December 30th 1754
