Griffith Evan, Aber-erch, Yeoman : Will 1762.
In the name of God Amen.I Griffith Evan of the Parish of Abereirch, County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Yeoman being of and in perfect memory and mindfull of my mortality do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament as for touching and concerning my Goods, Cattle, Chattels Credits and personal Estate in manner and form following :
First I give and bequeath to my eldest brother William Evan the sum of five shillings.
I give and bequeath to my brother John Evan the sum of five shillings.
I give and bequeath to my brother Humphrey Evan the like sum of five shillings.
I give and bequeath to my Niece Elizabeth Humphrey youngest daughter of my brother Humphrey the sum of Two pounds of Lawfull English money.
I give will and bequeath all the rest residue and surplusage of my Goods, Cattle, Chattels, Credit and personal Estate after my debts Legacies and other charges paid and satisfied unto my wedded wife Ellin Williams whom I do make constitute and ordain to be Executrix of this my Will and Testament on revoking and making void all former Wills and Testament by me made and this only to be taken stand and deemed for and to be my Last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I the said Griffith Evan the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the first day of May in the year of our Lord 1759.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Griffith Evan Testator for and to be his last Will and Testament in our presence and by us at his request attested and subscribed in his presence.

On the 31st day of March 1762 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and administration granted to the Executrix within named, she being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists as the Law directs/Everyone's right being saved and reserved before me John Jones Surrogate A true and perfect Inventory of the Goods, Cattle, Chattels, Credits and personal Estate of Griffith Evan of the parish of Abererch, County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor lately deceased March 30th 1762.
