Humphrey Owen, Tyddyn yr Onnen, Aber-erch, Yeoman : Will 1761.

In the name of God Amen. I Humphrey Owen of Tythyn yr Onnen in the parish of Abereirch in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Yeoman being of perfect mind and memory praised be God, do on the Twenty Fourth day of March in the year of Our Lord, One thousand seven hundred and sixty one, make publish and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Dorothy Humphrey the sum of Three pounds of lawful British Money, but in case the said Humphrey Owen shall happen to survive my said daughter Dorothy Humphrey

I will that the said sum of Three pounds is to go to my Grandaughter Gwen Roberts, daughter of my said daughter Dorothy Humphrey.

Also I give and bequeath the one moeity or half part of all and singular the remainder of my worldly Goods, Chattels, Cattles, Rights and Credits, whatsoever, wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever the same shall be at the time of my decease unto my son Owen Humphrey, daughter Mary Humphrey and daughter Gwen Humphrey to be equally divided between them three, share alike, with whatever Goods, Chattels, Cattles, Rights and Credits as each of them three last named has at present to their management and possession.

As for all and singular the rest, residue and remainder of my worldly Goods, Chattels, Cattle, Rights and Credits whatsoever who soever and of what nature kind or quantity soever the same shall be at the time of my decease. I give and bequeath the same unto my beloved now wife Ellin James to be disposed of at her own will and discretion. And I do hereby nominate and appoint her my said beloved wife Ellin James sole Executrix on this my last Will and Testament revoking and making void all former Wills and Testament by me made.

On the fourth day of July One thousand seven hundred and sixty one the within written Will was insinuated orived approved decreed valid in common form of law and administration of the Goods and Chattels of the said deceased granted to the Executrix within named, she being first personally sworn as the Law directs everyone's right being saved reserved
