Katherine Cadwalader, Abererch, Widow : Will 1729.
In the name of God Amen.I Katherine Cadwalader of the Parish of Abererch County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God : therefore calling … the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament. I give and recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent christian burial at the discretion of my Executor who after shall be mentioned. Imprimis.
I give and bequeath unto my son John the sum of Two pounds.
I give unto my daughter Jonnet one Hobet of Reiy with a sack wherewith to carry it.
I give to my daughter Ellin the sum of Ten shillings.
I give to daughter Gwen the sum of Two pounds. I give to my Grandaughter Katherine Cadwalader the sum of Ten shillings.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane the sum of Six pounds with a bedstead and bed clothes.
I give and bequeath unto my son Cadwalader William the sum of Three pounds, whom I likewise constitute make and ordain my Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament all and singular my Goods and Cattle and Chattels, Debts and personal Estate whatsoever and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former Wills by me in any ways before named ratifying this and no other to be my last Will and Testament as Witness my hand and seal this sixteenth day of October 1729.

A true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods, Cattle, Chattels and Credits of Katherine Cadwalader late whilst she lived in the parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow deceased made taken and appraised 21st day of October Ano Dm 1729 by the persons under named.
